CNC Machine Operator

WAGE: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour DOE

SHIFT: -6:00 am - 2:30 pm Full Time Monday - Friday

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR...

Supporting the Production Supervisor or Shop Lead with carrying out a variety of machining tasks including reading and understanding complex work orders, perform various commercial and residential machining functions (i.e. boring, edge prep, hinge dapping and boring) to both door and frames, advanced understanding of various door machining specifications, working knowledge of complex door assembly procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with Production Scheduler and Door Pullers to ensure all doors are correctly organized for daily production.
  • Read and understand complex commercial work orders.
  • Correctly machine all commercial and residential special order and complex doors and prehungs.
  • Ensure machined products meet both ADP and customer quality standards.
  • Perform all daily, weekly, and monthly machine preventative maintenance.
  • Provide overflow relief for other door machines.
  • Work with the Production Supervisor and all Shop Team Members daily on Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
  • Follow all ADP safety and work rules/procedures as directed.
  • Cross train in all departments to be able to provide overflow support.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 + Years Door Machining Experience
  • 5+ Years Door Shop Experience
  • 3 + Years Door Assemble Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic -Intermediate Computer Skills
  • Strong Math Skills
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills
