ROLE:

Alliance Door Products is looking for an experienced Production Scheduler to support sales and operations through accurate and timely scheduling of daily door shop production work orders. In this position you will experience a regular work schedule, Monday-Friday, competitive wages and career growth opportunities, and a small and hard-working team that provides beautiful and quality products.

HOURS: Full-time, Monday through Friday 7:30AM-4:30PM.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Input and update daily door shop work orders in the production schedule
  • Align production capacity with customer orders and backlog to ensure timely delivery
  • Coordinate with Production Supervisor and Customer Service to maintain workflow and resolve issues
  • Answer scheduling inquiries and update production dates
  • Track production progress and adjust schedules as needed
  • Maintain the production calendar for order dating
  • Provide status updates and forecasts to the Production Supervisor
  • Prepare production paperwork for Door Pullers, Glazing, and Millwork departments
  • Issue and log fire labels per Intertek requirements
  • Cross-train on CNC programming and support overflow BOM/administrative tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned

CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Our ideal candidate comes with the following skills:

  • Prior manufacturing or production scheduling experience
  • Ability to read and understand various door shop work orders
  • Knowledge of complex door machining and prehung assembly
  • Ability to use various types of computer software (preferably VAI systems & Microsoft Office)
  • Strong math skills
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills
  • A team player with drive for continuous improvement
  • Hard working, self-motivated, and detail oriented
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Starting at $26.00- $30.00/ Hour - DOE.
